Recipe Plus is declared the winner in the procurement for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccine in Latvia, as announced by the vice-chief of Latvian National Health Service’s Finance Management Department’s Office for Procurements Ainārs Lācbergs at a press-conference.

He noted that the contract is in the stage of completion. This is why it is not possible to disclose the contract price.

«Once the contract has been signed, it will be possible to comment on the price. Until it is signed it would be wrong to reveal the contract price,» said Lācbergs.

As previously reported, AS Recipe Plus medicines wholesale trader worked with EUR 190.366 million turnover last year, which is 2.5% less when compared to 2018.

the company’s profits increased by 18.8% and were EUR 18.448 million, according to information from Firmas.lv.

The government’s report on the company’s annual account details that Recipe Plus continued expanding the assortment of goods in accordance with pharmacies and healthcare institutions’ demand, signing ten cooperation contracts with new suppliers and including 1 445 new positions in the assortment. 409 of them are medicines and 1 036 – food supplements, hygiene and cosmetics products, medical devices, as well as veterinary goods.
