(MENAFN) According to official figures, cargo throughput at Chinese ports preserved steady expansion during the January-November period of 2020, climbing 4.2 percent annually to 13.25 billion tonnes.
The Ministry of Transport said that, cargo throughput at ports, during November alone, witnessed a quick yearly rise of 9 percent to 1.32 billion tonnes, with the foreign trade cargo throughput climbing 2.7 percent annually.
China’s container throughput at ports came in at 240 million twenty-foot equivalent units during the January-November period of 2020, a rise by 0.8 percent annually.
The ministry stated that, the expansion rate went back to the positive territory, advancing from a 0.03 percent decline during the January-October period.
