The Irish Revenue Commissioners Jan. 13 explained that the debt warehousing regime for businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic is available until Jan. 31. The tax agency further explained that: 1) the regime allows businesses to defer pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) and VAT debts for 12 months without interest following the resumption of business; 2) after 12 months the debt can be paid in full without interest or by installment at a 3 percent annual interest rate; and 3) businesses must file all relevant tax declarations to use the regime.
