Latvia’s Competition Council (KP) has found certain competition-distorting requirements in the procurement organized by the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) for the supply of registration plates, KP reports.
The procurement organized by CSDD revealed certain requirements that limit competition. As a result of this, only one contender participated in it – CSDD’s long-term cooperation partner. Additionally, the offer was several times more expensive when compared to similar procurements in Estonia and Lithuania, KP adds.
KP plans to report more about this procurement at 10:30 at a press-conference on Tuesday, 30 June.
