A solid set of results have been revealed by a Nottingham-headquartered procurement specialist for its latest financial year.
Scape Group has reported a turnover of £11.8m for the 12 months to 31 March 2020, down from £12m, while its pre-tax profits went from £2.3m to £2.4m over the same period.
The public sector partnership offers frameworks, property services, design services, community investment opportunities and joint ventures and is owned by six local authorities.
A statement signed off by the board said: “The directors note that recent events concerning Covid-19 have introduced additional risks for many businesses, although remain confident that the group is well placed to mitigate any additional risks so arising.
“Additionally, cash reserves held are sufficiently strong to provide additional levels of risk mitigation such as the directors are confident that Covid-19 will not affect detrimentally the ongoing viability of the group.”
