Biscuitville has promoted local Supply Chain Manager Larry Williams to Vice President of Supply Chain for the corporation.
Williams has been working with Biscuitville since 1986 when he joined as a warehouse worker and delivery driver. Since then, Williams has been a Distribution Center Manager and Supply Chain Director.
In his latest role before promotion, Williams oversaw the company’s self-distribution system operated out of the company’s warehouse space in Graham. The facility serves all 63 Biscuitville locations in North Carolina and Virginia.
“Self-distribution allows us to provide a level of service to our restaurants that cannot be matched by a third-party,” Williams said. “We can custom fit our systems to meet the needs of our restaurant operators because we have a direct line to our suppliers without any middle-man involvement.”
