KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cargo Largo has 25 jobs open between its retail store and warehouse in the Kansas City area.

Wages start at $13 per hour with both full and part-time positions available, as well as both entry-level jobs and jobs that require some experience.

“We really love positivity and teamwork,” said John Belshe, director of retail with Cargo Largo. “We really believe in people. We really believe in having a culture that’s family-friendly, people-oriented, and I think that we’re distinctive in that way.”

Cargo Largo has about 10 job openings at their retail store in Independence, Missouri, including cashiers and sales floor associates. At their retail store, the shelves are always changing.

“Designer clothing, food, anything you could imagine,” Belshe said. “It literally changes every day, so we get new products today that we’ve never had before, we won’t get again. Sometimes we only get one or two of something, but it’s always evolving every day we stock new products in quite a bit.”

The constant changes allow for some creativity.

“You never know what kind of products you’re going to receive. So you have the autonomy to be creative which is really fun too,” said Kristi Gray.

Gray is an employee at the retail store and said she loves the people and enjoys the company culture.

“Most recently we got to have a spirit week where there’s a different theme every day. So, you know, for instance, silly hat day, silly sock day, just really having fun and enjoying, you know, seeing each other be silly and goofy while you’re working and have fun it was really a good time,” she explained. “So that’s one thing I love about Cargo Largo, you know, they let you have fun while you’re working. It’s a good balance of working hard and having fun and, you know, just working with a great team. I mean, we’re a lot like a big family here which is really great too.”

Gray enjoys it so much, she plans to stick around for a long time.

“This is a company where I would like to retire from,” she said.

There are 15 positions open at the company’s warehouse including.

Belshe said every employee gets a 15% discount at the store as well as many other benefits. You can find more about the available benefits on the website.
