What You Get To Do Every Day
- Procurement of hardware and software in a timely manner to attain cost & inventory objectives, minimizing risk for the organization
- Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow asset management, interacting with the integrator to improve the module reconciling existing inventory, orders received and purchase orders to assure supply levels meet the needs of upcoming hiring
- Coordinate and review vendor sourcing strategies, conducting quarterly IT vendor reviews
- Maintain hardware inventory recordkeeping with 100% accuracy
- Manage IT e-waste program, working with IT Support to ensure that all decommissioned assets are disposed of appropriately setting life-cycle process end dates on all assets
- Set up regular hardware audits, where you manage physical inventories to track all equipment
- Manage software usage and cost of goods in SaaS tool – G2 – zylo
- Track and define strategy for software asset & license management to ensure compliance and business requirements are met
- Work with key stakeholders throughout the business – Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payable and PM, to refine and improve current asset management processes and lifecycle
What You Bring To The Role
- BS/BA and a MINIMUM of 2+ years experience in an asset management role
- Expertise with ServiceNow ITSM specifically the asset management module
- Strong organizational and independent thinking skills
- You are detail oriented, highly organized, and can easily manage multiple projects with various layers of complexity and urgency
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Sense of urgency in all your interactions
