Junior Procurement Specialist – Multinational Leading Defence and Technology Contractor

With unprecedented career progression and the opportunity to grow your procurement career at a Defence and Technology firm at the forefront of its field. You will be working on some of the most innovative Weapons projects both on land and sea, you will enter the company as a Junior Procurement Specialist, focusing on the strategies behind providing cost effective and time critical delivery of products to support some of the company’s largest and most exciting projects.

As a Junior Procurement Specialist your role will involve:

  • Work under an experienced procurement team where you will learn from professionals at the forefront of their industry.
  • Ensure the cost effective and time critical delivery of products along the supply chain to safeguard the ever-expanding portfolio of exciting Maritime and Land based defence projects.
  • Have daily exposure to C-Suite level stakeholders where you can negotiate to ensure your strategies across the supply chain are properly implemented.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the technology and defence market where you can identify new opportunities and mitigate upcoming risks.

Experience and Skills required:

  • 3+ years in the Defence, Technology or Aerospace industry, focusing on strategic sourcing in procurement functions with proven contract negotiations and stakeholder influence.
  • Experience in overlooking the entire sourcing process, where you can confidently devise strategies and implement them into the business.
  • A desire to grow your procurement career alongside like-minded scientific and technically focussed minds at an ever-growing industry.
  • CIPS/MCIPS qualified
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
