December 19, 2019: The logistics IT solutions provider, Kale Logistics Solutions developed a new air cargo community system (ACS) for Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the United States along with the airport airfreight community.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Kale’s ACS is a digital platform to help all stakeholders including customs, shippers, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, freight forwarders and cargo handlers to electronically communicate.
Went live on November 14, 2019, the platform could eliminate duplicate data entry work, excessive documentation, truck congestion and wait-time issues and brings in transparency to reduce overall logistics costs along with better supply chain planning.
Kale is also working with Microsoft to implement artificial intelligence & machine learning into the ACS system to address any exceptional scenarios. The system can then intelligently predict, assign and if required prioritize the allocation of docks for trucks waiting at the marshalling yard.
