According to Reuters, a company spokeswoman for Singapore’s Pavilion Energy has said that the company has taken the decision not to lift an LNG cargo from the US due to “scheduling and other commercial matters”.
The spokeswoman reportedly said: “Pavilion Energy evaluated scheduling and other commercial matters, then took the decision not to lift the cargo in full coordination with the supplier.”
This was referring an LNG cargo that was originally supposed to be loaded from the Cameron LNG project in Louisiana, US, under a long-term contract signed with Mitsubishi Corp.
According to Reuters, a spokesman for Mitsubishi has refused to comment on the matter.
