Salary: £44,800 to £52,700 per annum

Job Location: Nationwide, London presence 1 day a week when current situation allows

Hours: 36 per week

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment

We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in London!

The Group Procurement and Commercial Management Team supports the Group in delivering its commercial activities. It is a centre of excellence which provides guidance and operational support on programmes and major projects, policy and procedure, commercial management to drive performance, innovation and strategic savings delivery as well as assurance and performance monitoring.

You’ll be expected to be proactive in identifying and developing further ways in which the team can deliver further commercial value to the group.

This is an exciting time to join our new team on the journey moving forwards. Engaging with the business and based at our modern officers in More London Place, you’ll support our customers in identifying suitable routes to market and leading the agreed procurement projects.

With Extensive knowledge of EU procurement regulations, PCR2015 and extant CO policy you’ll provide first class procurement solutions engaging with stakeholders to capture requirements and develop strategy.

Using your experience to retain the focus and motivation of procurement project team members you’ll carry out appraisals to develop management capacity and capability, determine development needs of stakeholders and develop ways to meet identified gaps.

We’re looking to hire someone with the below skill set;-

  • Experience and proven delivery of contracts for the provision of goods and services.

  • Data analysis & reporting skills. Uses information to ensure the evidence base for Procurement strategy (including Route to Market Reports) and work is open to critical challenge and inspires the confidence of stakeholders.

  • Experience of managing Stakeholders, with an ability to retain the focus and motivation of procurement project team members to drive VfM procurement projects.

  • Strong understanding of main contractor operational needs & pressures.

  • Capability in using Microsoft Office Applications, Delta, Microsoft dynamics, EMPTORIS
