The Oldham-based company behind Russell Hobbs saucepans, Dreamtime duvets and Kleeneze mops has warned that coronavirus has knocked its production line.
Ultimate Products, the consumer goods group, said that it would take “all necessary action” to alleviate pressure on its supply chain in the wake of a prolonged industrial shutdown in China.
The company, which supplies hundreds of retailers, including Tesco, Asda and Boots, in 38 markets, carries out most of its manufacturing at Chinese sites.
